Entries for the 2011 Townsend Trophy Photo Contest must be postmarked by February 28, 2012.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE AN EXPERT TO ENTER! The acceptable Townsend Trophy photograph should epitomize trail riding, including elements that are distinctly representative of TRCR (horses, riders, Teepee Town, campfires, etc). Entries must have a post date or email date on or before February 28th. Color or black and white photographs (size 4" x 6" or larger) or by email (minimum 300 dpi) are eligible.

There is a limit of three entries per person. Mark your photographs on the back with your name, names of the people in the picture, where it was taken (valley, lake, river, peak, etc) ride number and date. All entries must be taken on the current year's ride. Only one plaque is awarded, with the winner and runner-up being guaranteed a page in the annual calendar. All entries will be considered for our Calendar.

All entries will become the property of TRCR for our reproduction in our calendar, photo albums or advertising. Mail your entries to TT Photos, Box 6742, Station D, Calgary, Alberta T2P 2E6, Canada or email them to ttphotos@trail-rides.ca

Judging is completed at the TRCR Spring Roundup on May 14, 2012. Photos are placed on a large flat table with only numbers to identify them. Those members attending the Roundup each get secret ballots to fill out and place in the T.T. cup identifying their favourite photos. The ballots are counted and the winner and 2nd place are announced.
